Summer School planning begins before Christmas. The TiM team visited the Pioneer centre to talk through the details of summer school 2008 on the last working day before Christmas. The challenge next year will be to fit all of our first and second year students in with the third year dissertation students and guests who will be attending for the 24 hour master class with Alan Hirsch. Alan will speak to the whole school at the opening worship event. The photo shows Landy, Lynda and Mary working with a Pioneer team member.

Together in Mission has been working in partnership with the Australian College of Ministries (ACOM) to allow students linked into the UK to have access to this excellent field based course on mission in a western context. The B.Th is offered by the Sydney College of Divinity (SCD) with ACOM being the teaching institution of SCD. Nearly all of the students are involved in a variety of youth ministries although of course this may develop into other areas of ministry in the future. Their ministry placement forms an integral part of the study process. Also key to the process is their journey of personal formation which gives students a methodology to reflect on their spiritual and personal journey.

David Isgrove and David Lawrence are playing a significant part in directing UK students on the B.Th. David Isgrove will be involved with the practical issues of developing the programme including connecting with new students and overseeing the establishment of new centres for the delivery of the course. He is the Director of Development for the B.Th. David Lawrence will be overseeing the study programme as the Director of Studies for Together in Mission.
